Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
Welcome to Anima Arcana. These terms explain how our website, bookings, products and courses work, so that everything is clear between us before you book or buy.
By using this website or booking or purchasing anything, you agree to these terms. Please read them with care. If anything is unclear, write to animaarcana333@gmail.com and we will gladly explain.
1. About Anima Arcana
Anima Arcana is a space dedicated to the relationship between body, soul, nature and creative expression. It is run by Virginia Giordano from Oaxaca, Mexico. What we offer may include bodywork, energy-based practices, tarot readings, photography, courses and workshops, and botanical products.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Anima Arcana. “You” means anyone who visits the website, books a service, buys a product or joins a course.
2. Nature of what we offer
Our offerings are wellness, educational, spiritual and artistic experiences meant to support relaxation, learning, personal exploration and creative expression.
Massage and bodywork, Reiki, Kundalini Life Force Activation, the Triple Vagal Nerve Method (TVM) and tarot readings are not a substitute for medical, psychological or psychiatric care. They are not a diagnosis or a treatment, and no particular physical, emotional or spiritual result is promised.
Tarot is offered as a tool for reflection and self-knowledge, not as a prediction or as medical, legal or financial advice.
Taking part is always voluntary, and you remain in charge of your own decisions and boundaries. Our Wellness Disclaimer, which describes how consent and touch are handled, forms part of these terms.
3. Booking and appointments
You can book through this website, through a scheduling platform we link to, or by writing to us directly. A booking is confirmed once the booking steps are complete and any payment or deposit has been received.
Please arrive on time and tell us beforehand about any needs or limitations. If you arrive late and another appointment follows, your session may be shorter. Some offerings need a short conversation first or several sessions; where this applies, we will tell you before you book.
4. Payments and prices
Prices, session lengths, course fees, product costs and any extra charges are shown or told to you before you pay. Unless stated otherwise, payment is due when you book or buy, and the available payment methods are shown at checkout or when we arrange your appointment.
Deposits, instalments, packages and special offers may have their own conditions, which we will explain at the time. If a payment cannot be processed, the booking or order stays unconfirmed until it is completed. Nothing here limits any consumer rights you have by law.
5. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
If you need to cancel or move an appointment, please write to us as early as you can. Our Refund Policy sets out the notice period and the conditions for sessions, courses and products, and it forms part of these terms.
If we have to cancel, we will offer you a new time or a refund. These conditions never override mandatory consumer rights, including any right to withdraw from a purchase made at a distance.
6. Health, safety and personal responsibility
Please tell us about any physical limitations, allergies, sensitivities, injuries or other circumstances that could affect your safe participation, and ask us anything before a session if you are unsure it is right for you. We may suggest changing, postponing or declining a session when there is a safety concern.
Bodywork and massage involve touch. Your consent and comfort come first throughout, and you may ask to change, pause or end the session at any moment, without needing to explain.
Breath, sound, touch, movement and energy practices can affect people differently, and no particular result is promised. Please tell us about any discomfort as it arises.
7. Apothecary and botanical products
Our apothecary may include herbal preparations, balms, oils and other botanical items. Descriptions explain what herbs have traditionally been used for, their ingredients and general character. They are not a claim that any product diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents disease.
Please read each label and the directions before use, and check the ingredients if you have allergies or sensitivities. If you are pregnant or nursing, take medication or live with a health condition, speak with a qualified professional first. Stop using a product if it irritates you or causes a reaction, and seek advice if needed.
Handmade and botanical products can vary slightly in colour, texture and packaging. Prices, availability and delivery are shown before purchase, and our Shipping and Refund policies apply to damaged, incorrect or otherwise eligible products.
8. Courses, workshops and educational content
Courses, workshops and materials are meant to support learning and personal development. Unless a qualification is expressly stated, taking part does not give you an accredited professional qualification, licence or certification.
Dates, formats, access periods and requirements are described on each course page. You are responsible for how you use what you learn, and we cannot promise any personal, professional, financial or spiritual outcome. Paid digital materials are for the buyer’s own use unless we expressly grant otherwise.
9. Photography
Photography sessions are artistic experiences exploring self-expression, the body and its relationship to the landscape. The scope, length, deliverables, editing, delivery time and price are agreed with you before booking.
You keep your rights over your own image and likeness. We will not use identifiable photographs of you for promotion, advertising or a portfolio without your permission. Copyright in the photographs stays with the photographer unless we agree otherwise in writing, so buying a session does not by itself transfer copyright or allow unrestricted commercial use. Any specific image-use licence is agreed separately.
10. Intellectual property
The website and its original content, including text, photographs, artwork, logos, graphics and course materials, belong to or are licensed to Anima Arcana and are protected by law.
You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not copy, distribute, modify, sell or otherwise use our content or teaching materials commercially without our written permission. Buying a course, reading or service does not transfer ownership of the related content.
11. Using the website
We do our best to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always run without interruption or error. We may update content, offerings, schedules and prices for future bookings and purchases; this does not change an agreement already made with you.
Please do not misuse the website, interfere with how it works, try to access it without permission or use it for anything unlawful.
12. Third-party platforms and links
The website may link to or use outside services such as booking platforms, payment processors and other websites. They have their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before sharing personal or payment details. We are not responsible for the content or operation of third-party sites, except where the law requires it.
13. Limits of responsibility
We offer our work with care and respect for your boundaries. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for results that cannot reasonably be promised, for personal interpretations of spiritual or educational material, or for harm from using products or information against the directions given.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it, including your consumer rights and any liability for negligence or intentional misconduct.
14. Privacy
We collect only the personal information needed to manage bookings, take payments, send products, stay in touch and provide our services. It is handled as set out in our Privacy Policy and in line with applicable data-protection law, including your rights over your own information.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our offerings, website, practices or legal duties change. The latest version is always published on this page with its date, and where the law requires it we will tell affected customers about significant changes.
16. Governing law and disagreements
These terms are intended to work in line with the laws of Mexico and any other mandatory laws that apply to your purchase. If something goes wrong, we would be grateful if you wrote to us first so we can try to resolve it directly and kindly. This never prevents you from going to consumer-protection authorities or the competent courts.
17. Contact
For questions about these terms, a booking, a purchase or an experience, write to animaarcana333@gmail.com. By booking or buying, you confirm that you have had the chance to read these terms.
