About
The Woman Behind Anima Arcana
A path through travel, the body, nature, energy and symbolism that became Anima Arcana.

“My path has never belonged to a single tradition. It has unfolded through travel, the body, nature, energy, symbolism, and the mysteries that invite us to look beyond what we can see.”
Chapter 1
Roots
I grew up in Italy, and my path gradually led me far beyond the place where it began. I have always been drawn to understanding life beyond its visible surface: the relationship between the body and the natural world, the ways energy shapes our experience, and the hidden dimensions of being human.
My journey has never been about following one belief system. It has been about exploring, questioning, learning, and discovering how different traditions can offer different ways of understanding ourselves and our place in the world.
Chapter 2
The Journey
Years of travelling took me through different countries, cultures, and ways of living. Spending time in remote rural places and learning from spiritual teachers, including teachers of Buddhism, gradually changed the way I understood the human experience.
These encounters opened my perspective to the possibility that we are more than our physical bodies. The body is our vessel: the place through which we experience the world, feel, connect, and transform, while our inner life reaches beyond what can be measured or immediately understood.
I became increasingly interested in the relationship between body, consciousness, and energy, and in the practices that help us explore this relationship. My path became less about finding one definitive answer and more about learning to listen, observe, and recognise the connections between different dimensions of life.
Chapter 3
The Body
My exploration of the body developed through my work with fascia, long-form bodywork, and touch, alongside my training in Reiki and my interest in nervous-system-centred practices.
I am particularly drawn to the intelligence of the body and its capacity to respond when we slow down, soften, and allow space for relaxation. Through long, flowing touch and myofascial work, I explore how we can reconnect with sensation, release unnecessary tension, and return to a more natural relationship with our bodies.
For me, the body is not separate from our emotional, energetic, or spiritual lives. It is the vessel through which we experience them.
This understanding continues to inform my work through bodywork, Reiki, the Triple Vagal Nerve Method (TVM), and Kundalini Life Force Activation. Each practice has its own approach, offering a different way to explore the relationship between the physical body, energy, and inner experience.
Chapter 4
The Symbol
Tarot has been part of my life for years, and I have eight years of professional experience as a tarot reader.
I see tarot as a window into our inner world: a symbolic language that can help us recognise patterns, bring unconscious influences into awareness, and look at ourselves with greater clarity.
For me, tarot is not simply about predicting what will happen. It is about understanding why we find ourselves in certain situations, recognising the possibilities available to us, and discovering how our choices can influence the direction of our lives.
My interest in esoteric wisdom extends beyond the cards. I am fascinated by the symbols and teachings that explore the relationship between the visible and invisible, the human and the cosmic, the body and consciousness.
Chapter 5
The Land
My journey eventually brought me to Oaxaca, arriving alongside a Mara'akame and his family from the Wixárika (Wirrarika) tradition. This was a meaningful experience that deepened my appreciation for ceremony, energy, sacred plants, and the relationship between spirituality and the natural world. During this time, my spiritual teacher gave me the name Wirima.
Oaxaca became the place where I chose to build my life and develop my practice. Living on the coast, surrounded by the sea, mountains, and plants, continues to shape my understanding of our relationship with nature and the rhythms that connect us to it.
It is here that the different threads of my journey have gradually come together, finding their expression through Anima Arcana.
Chapter 6
Anima Arcana
Anima Arcana grew from the connections I began to recognise between all these experiences.
Anima speaks to the soul, the breath of life, the essence that animates us. Arcana evokes hidden knowledge, mystery, and the wisdom that invites us to look beyond the surface.
To me, Anima Arcana is a space where we can remember what lives within us, unfold the parts of ourselves that remain hidden, and rediscover our natural rhythm.
Sometimes this process begins through the body: through touch, relaxation, and the experience of allowing tension to soften. Sometimes it begins through tarot, whose symbols offer a mirror for exploring the subconscious, recognising patterns, and understanding ourselves more deeply. Sometimes it unfolds through energy work, ceremony, nature, or the study of esoteric traditions.
These are different languages, each opening a different door.
I see the body as our vessel and our connection with the physical world, while our inner lives hold dimensions that we are continually learning to understand. Exploring this relationship can become an invitation to live more consciously, reconnect with our potential, and participate more fully in shaping our own lives.
Anima Arcana brings these paths together through bodywork, tarot, Reiki, TVM, Kundalini, photography, an apothecary, and a school dedicated to sharing knowledge.
Not as a single doctrine or a promise of transformation, but as a space for exploration, learning, and reconnection.
A place to remember what lives within us, unfold what remains hidden, and return to our natural rhythm.
Welcome to Anima Arcana.
